Understanding the status

What is a FANUC Authorized System Integrator?

A FANUC Authorized System Integrator (ASI) is a company recognized by FANUC for proven technical competence in building automation systems around FANUC robots. It is not a distribution agreement. It reflects engineering know-how, field experience and alignment with FANUC's technical ecosystem.

An ASI has shown it can choose the right robot for an application, design the whole cell around real production conditions, and commission systems that keep performing after handover.

  • FANUC application experience. Field-tested knowledge of FANUC platforms across many real installations.
  • Integration for real shop floors. Complete cells, not only hardware: machine interface, safety and commissioning.
  • Closer to FANUC. Direct access to FANUC technical resources, training and engineering support.

For manufacturers

What ASI changes in your project

For a plant evaluating machine tending, ASI status says something concrete about how the integration will be run, from feasibility to commissioning and beyond.

A controlled process

Scope, layout, cycle time and machine interface are planned step by step. Reach, clearance and cycle time are validated in ROBOGUIDE before hardware is committed.

Application know-how

Robot selection, gripper design, reach analysis and programming based on what your parts actually require.

Safety by design

Safety is part of the cell architecture: guarding, interlocks and operator zones, plus FANUC options such as DCS and force sensing chosen from day one.

Support that continues

From FAT and SAT through the first months of production we stay involved. The goal is a cell that keeps performing.

Focused expertise, not general automation

Since 2013 our work has centerd on metal manufacturing: CNC machine tending, vision-guided feeding and robot cell integration.

Application focus

CNC machine tending

IROCUBE is designed for machining centers and lathes. Cycle time, part variety, machine access and chips are handled by the platform, not case by case.

Commissioning

From feasibility to FAT and SAT

Every project goes through layout review, reach analysis, cycle time estimation, simulation, FAT and SAT, so the cell performs predictably in production.

Integration mindset

Not just a badge

The difference is not the robot. It is how the system around the robot is designed.

Common questions

FANUC ASI and IROCUBE

What is a FANUC Authorized System Integrator?

A company recognized by FANUC for proven technical competence and field experience in building automation systems around FANUC robots. The status is about integration know-how, not reselling robots. An ASI has shown it can design complete robot cells, commission them in real production and support them over time.

Why work with a FANUC Authorized System Integrator?

Integration quality decides whether a robot investment performs as expected, more than the robot brand alone. An ASI-level integrator has done comparable projects before, which lowers integration risk and makes commissioning more predictable.

What does ASI status mean for IROCUBE customers?

The team integrating your cell has application-specific experience with FANUC robots in CNC machine tending. Robot, vision, conveyor, safety, machine interface and software are designed and commissioned by one team. IROVISION, PLC programming and the machine interface are done in-house.

Can IROCUBE be integrated with our existing CNC machines?

Yes. Every project starts with an evaluation of your machine, part and production target. Layout, reach and cycle time are analysed before the configuration is fixed, and IROCUBE connects to the machine interface so it works within your real process.

Does IROCUBE use FANUC robots?

FANUC is our standard robot platform, and our ASI status covers exactly this experience: payload selection, programming and long-term service. Where a project calls for it, cells can also be built with other robot brands, such as Stäubli.

How does vision-guided feeding help?

Traditional tending relies on fixtures or drawers that hold each part in a fixed position. That works for one part family but gets costly as variety grows. IROVISION detects position and orientation with a camera, so the robot adapts to the part instead of the part being forced into a fixture.
